Classic Acai Bowl

Here is the official Classic Acai Bowl recipe. If you’ve never tried it before, it’s just like a smoothie in a bowl!

I’ve made some great smoothies with the  Sambazon Acai Smoothie packs, my favorite being the Acai Berry and Banana Immunity Smoothie.

Oh, and I made some really good Acai Berry and Banana Mini Cheesecakes too!  But this is the first time I’ve actually had a smoothie in a bowl, and I really liked it.

It’s very simple to make, and you make it in a Vitamix, just like a regular smoothie.

But the next step is the fun part…choosing which toppings to use!  

Since this is the “classic” bowl, I used the original toppings of banana and granola, but the varieties you could come up with are endless.  It’s a healthy breakfast alternative that’s “almost” raw, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and has no refined sugar.  Take a look at how…read the full recipe here!
