The Real September Issue

It’s that time of the year again—the September issues of all of the greatest magazines have finally hit the shelves. New York Fashion Week is just around the corner and it’s signaling that fall is almost within reach. It’s time for cooler weather, for the leaves to start changing color, and for you to shift your work wardrobe into the autumn season.
Just because the seasons are changing, it doesn’t mean that you have to leave absolutely all traces of your summer wardrobe behind. Pencil skirts play a pivotal role in every working woman’s wardrobe and they seamlessly transition from season to season creating a feminine and flattering silhouette. Pairing them with a menswear-inspired top to balance out the tone of your ensemble. Also, don’t put away those floral patterns you’ve enjoyed all summer just yet. Incorporate some floral pieces in darker hues, like burgundies, dark blues and deep purples to match the new season.

Tights and stockings are a must-have accessory for the impending autumn weather. They will aid in turning the wrap dresses, sheath dresses, and skirts you have been flaunting all summer into ensembles that will continue to work for you as the temperatures start to drop.
